About My Company

I've been in the Home and Car audio business since 1997 and have worked for both mom and pop shops and corporate businesses. I branched out on my own 4 years ago. I'm a one man show, selling and installing home audio/video and car audio/video equipment. I also offer lighting, shades, and smart home solutions as well as security. I sell and install a variety of brands and will also install high quality equipment not purchased through me.

My goal is to provide high quality solutions for every budget. Technology is my passion and I want to help all of my customers achieve their goals at an affordable price. I created my website myself:

How Would a New NV200™ Help My Business?

An NV200 would help me to work more efficiently and truly provide the concierge type of mobile audio/video services that I have envisioned.

I currently drive a small car that limits the tools and equipment that I can take to a job site. I sometimes have to turn down jobs if I am unable to borrow/rent a vehicle that can accommodate large equipment. I also have to make multiple trips to my distributors because I am unable to pick up all of the equipment needed for a job in one trip.

Lastly, one of my specialties is custom fabrications for cars, boats, and homes. For example, when a customer wants a fiberglass enclosure for speakers, sub woofers, or amplifiers in their vehicle, I have them meet me at my house. If I had an NV200 I could take everything to the customers house and they can watch the progression of the project. A full service mobile operation is convenient for the customer and eliminates the need to have a friend or family member follow them to drop off the car.

How Would I Design My Dream Van?

Navigation and organization is a must. I would design the cargo area to accommodate my tools, table saw and a ladder. I would design a rack system to organize the cables, connectors and wire bins as well as the numerous tools and supplies that I need. I would leave some room for large equipment and for moving big screen TV's and other bulky items.

The logo design on the outside is also very important. I continue to put money back in to my tools and equipment and have not had much money for advertising other than my website, so it is really exciting to think about how much exposure my business would get with my logo and services on the outside of the van.

I envision a black NV200 with bold colors displaying VanHaasen Design proudly with my web address and phone number along with all services offered.

Why Do You Deserve To Win?

Not many people get to make a living doing what they love. I found something that I love and I do it well...the problem is that it is getting very difficult to make it work as a small business owner. I want to give people the best equipment and customized work at a good price and that means that I don't always make good money on a job. I need a practical, dedicated work vehicle to take my business and services to the next level and the NV200 also serves as a marketing tool. I deserve to win because I give customers great audio/visual solutions that fit every budget and I do it because I love it...they come back because I do good work. Winning the NV200 will allow me to continue to offer reasonable services to a variety of people. My wife has been supportive of my business even during tough times because she is so proud of the quality work that I do and she knows how much I love my work. Winning the NV200 will be a reward to both of us for the sacrifices that we make for the business.
