Keith Kahn
ALL AMERICAN LOCKSMITH SERVICE
Paid testimonial. The experience shown may not represent typical results. Optional equipment shown, some of which is provided by third parties for which Nissan North America is not responsible.
I'm Keith Kahn and I'm a locksmith. I own All American Locksmith Service. I've been a locksmith for about thirty years. Well, a locksmith pertains to a lot of different things. I work on safes. I work on cars. People lose their keys to cars, I can get them going again. I spend a lot of hours in the truck unlike a lot of other businesses. You know, this is my shop. I don't have a shop that's stationary. I have a mobile shop. I've always thought they should have a van that's designed with a pickup truck front end on it so that it's easy to service. Because the engine is out from underneath the dashboard it's cheaper to maintain. The Nissan was pretty much what I always wanted but there wasn't one. They didn't make a vehicle like I wanted. It's comfortable. It drives like a car. I can pull a heavy trailer[*]. It's the best all around vehicle I've ever owned, and that includes some nice cars that I've owned in the past.
It's very important to have your business name and logo recognized on your vehicle because now I get customers just from the van. Just from looking at the van they say, “Oh you can do that? You can do keyless remotes? You can do smart keys?” Yeah, it's very important to have that on there.
I probably have to get in and out of my vehicle twenty or thirty times a day. With the assistance of these handles on the door it makes it a lot easier to get in and out of. Adrian Steel came up with a real nice package for the Nissan NV. Everything in this van is engineered to make it easy to work with and work on. Other vans that I've owned, they're not set up for anything. You just buy a van and you're pretty much on your own. The way things are engineered it feels bigger. There's more room to move around. There's more room for storage. This van has so much hidden storage. I've got tools here. I've got trays down further in the opening. I've got storage areas for books.
And by the way, if you have a business where you want to haul cargo, how about that? To open these doors fully open all you have to do is pull this little lever and swing the door open. Now you've got the van fully open. To close them, you don't have to touch the lever you just swing the door shut and it goes back in place.
I got the Nissan NV SV package, which is a towing package. It also has what they call a technology package[*]. It has a backup camera, GPS of course, and it also has sonar in the back[*]. The top of this center console slides forward. I use it for my computer pretty frequently. And by the way the computer is plugged into an AC outlet inside the console. I myself use overhead storage for the computer[*].
And it's this simple. Now, my computer is not only put away, it's out of sight. People don't know it's in here. They're not tempted to possibly break a window or something, reach in and get your computer out.
It's just like driving a car to me. It's just easy to handle. It will fit in a parking place, you know. It turns very sharp. The turning radius is better than any pickup truck that I've ever driven. I enjoy driving this truck so much that instead of jumping in my pickup truck to run an errand I end up jumping in the van. If you need space and you're a mobile service like I am, or even if you're not a mobile service, it offers you the room to put any kind of machines that you want in it. It has all the room, all the space. It has all the features. This thing is the best vehicle you can get for a locksmith. The other manufacturers are going to have to step up to bat now. This thing has outperformed them every way that I can think of.

MIKE'S MACHINE REPAIR
Paid testimonial. The experience shown may not represent typical results. Optional equipment shown, some of which is provided by third parties for which Nissan North America is not responsible.
I'm Mike Savicz and I'm the owner of Mike's Machine Repair. I actually rebuild machine tools. I make repairs so that the companies can go back to work and make money. The one thing that makes me most proud about being in the business that I'm in is I could sit here and put my heart and soul into the work that I do and nobody's really going to notice all the work and effort that I put into it because it all gets closed up, covered up, and their machine runs fine, and they love it. We had a competitor's van prior to this and the engine blew up. So we were in the market to buy another vehicle. It just so happened my son found the Nissan and they arranged to bring the truck out to us. And the salesman was here and we went through it and I was totally impressed.
The height of this vehicle is just the best thing in the world because I'm not in there on my knees bumping heads and trying to crawl through a maze of garbage. I can walk inside this vehicle and that's the major feature of the whole truck is I can stand up in there like a human being and get to my tools. The door just slides open on its own and it latches back. The space they've given me for a logo, it's going to look very nice wrapped.
I can put almost three thousand pounds in the back of this truck and haul it[*].
I did have a job and the part weighed three thousand pounds and I put it on a pallet and put it in the truck. In the other van, I would have to get in the truck, and I would be on my knees and looking for something in there. The lighting was useless.
I have a compartment over here. On each door I have plenty of storage. I have a pullout drawer that I can store my precision tools in and they're not lost in the back of the truck. It has a handle. You could step quite easily into the vehicle.
Some of the features in this vehicle I love so much[*]. I can take my laptop and I can store my laptop in the storage compartment up above[*]. I can print an invoice to a customer and hand it to him right at the end of the job. This van has all the options of a very comfortable vehicle and it's very much appreciated[*]. A man works hard all day and he needs to be comfortable when he's driving home. In the other trucks that I had you just weren't there. It wasn't there.
The ride in this thing is more like a car. It's comfortable. The engine is in a regular compartment, not shoved up under the seat where you've got to dismantle half the vehicle to get in there. And it also, it gets good mileage. Oh, I would recommend this truck wholeheartedly and I have recommended this truck to quite a few of the people that I do business with. This vehicle is the best service van that I've had and I've had quite a few of them.

Greg Fifer
A&G RADIO AND TV
Paid testimonial. The experience shown may not represent typical results. Optional equipment shown, some of which is provided by third parties for which Nissan North America is not responsible.
Hi, I am Greg Fifer. I'm the president of A&G Radio and TV. We've been in business since 1963. We basically service consumer electronic products: TVs, stereos, receivers, amplifiers, car audio, products like that. I heard about Nissan about six or eight months ago they were coming out with this van. I went and stopped in and looked at it two or three times, drove it and liked what I saw. One of the reasons why we picked out the new Nissan van, number one was the size of it. We deal a lot with the downtown environment. We're in smaller areas. It's hard to get a big box truck through that we used to have before. This goes through a lot easier. Secondly, the products that we're servicing have dramatically changed in size. They're much smaller, so we don't need that big box truck that we had before.
Well one of the options they told me about, they could either give me a rebate or they said, “We can do some lettering on your truck.”[*] We sent them some artwork. They designed it. The credit they gave me saved me a lot of money. It was well worth it. One of the reasons why we picked the truck is due to the size of the cavity inside. This is roomier than any van we've ever had. We go to a house and we're in the truck maybe a minute. We're basically grabbing something and going. We just need it to store items when we're going from house to house. The door is very smooth. It's easy. What we like is that it opens up very wide. Some of them are like two doors that kind of go out. They're not as wide. This gives you a much wider opening on there.
And on the back doors, what I like about it, first off it's a wide opening but you're able to open the doors all the way. That is a big savings. Plus, if we're parked on a busy street and you got your door hanging out, let alone some car come by and take it off or something like this, this goes all the way back. So it gives you a lot more room to get in and out of the vehicle. We have had doors, wind comes by, guys getting out of the van, it slams shut on them. Not that it locks them in but he can get hit or hurt. This is not going to move. In the wintertime, we're running six, seven o'clock at night, it does have the larger interior light which is good. This is larger than most vans we've had. Most vans just have a little twelve-volt bulb in there, which is a glorified flashlight. This is much brighter. The tire wells on a lot of the vans really go into the van far. This really, it's got a lower profile so it gives you more usable room.
One of the things I liked about the van, there's a step here to get in. The step makes it a lot easier. First thing I noticed when I got in it, we don't have this big doghouse right in front of us. Okay, we've got room here to put your coffee, your food. When they use the truck they're putting paperwork and everything. It's right in the middle slot here. We have room now that we never had before. Again, we used to have this doghouse with maybe a little tray right here and that was it. There's no wall right behind here so this seat we can angle back. You've got plenty of room. The dashboard gives us tire pressure. I mean, we know in advance if we've got a low tire. It gives you the warning. It tells you if your oil change is ready to do. It gives you a lot more information than we ever had before. The other thing, dual interior lights. It's a very roomy, convenient item for us.
This to me rides like a car. It's smooth. It's got nice acceleration. It's not a bumpy ride at all. To me, I feel very comfortable driving this vehicle. What I was concerned with was I wanted a smaller vehicle with the room and this gave me a smaller downsized vehicle but it had the room. Anybody who uses a van I would say at least take a look at it and see what it's like. There's no reason not to look at it. I can't see, unless you needed a real box vehicle where you needed that box van, there was a reason why you'd use that, I don't see a reason why you wouldn't even at least take a look at this.

David Kaminski
DAVID'S HEATING & COOLING
Paid testimonial. The experience shown may not represent typical results. Optional equipment shown, some of which is provided by third parties for which Nissan North America is not responsible.
I am David Kaminski, president and owner of David's Heating & Cooling. I install furnace and air conditioners, service all types, all brands, boilers, warm air furnaces. I started this business in 1983. Been doing it for going on twenty-nine years now.
Nissan had more to offer than anyone else had to offer. There's more room. There's more comfort in there too. Sometimes you really want a little bit more comfort when you're driving back from a job. I'm glad to see that they got somebody that was in the industry that designed this for us guys in mind. They've given us more space, for height and storage space, and shelf space for us.
Getting in and out, it's nice. It's a lot easier. I'm not banging my head as soon as I'm getting out or getting in, which, as you can see, is a lot easier nowadays.
On this side here I got my Freon tank tower, which they give you room for three canisters. What's nice about this is you know they're strapped in, in case you're taking a turn, they're not going to be rolling out on you. Inside here, this is where I have all my meters and everything else for gas controls and electronic equipment. You can lock them if you want to. Or, it's just a matter of pushing down that button and it's all locked in place. You don't have to worry about it spilling all over the place. And what's nice too about the HVAC package, the shelves are moveable. You can adjust your heights on them to where you want to put your parts, and if you have big ones or little ones. It's two screws. It's a matter of two minutes popping them in and out and you're all done.
One of the features that I like about on the back on the doors is there's a camera back here[*]. What's nice is, when they're opening to move a little latch and it locks in on the magnet. When you're pulling up to a dock on a facility to get furnaces and everything else like that you can back right up, load your equipment, pull out, close them, and you're done. One, two, three.
The seats are very comfortable. They conform to you tremendously. I like it how they've given you for the lumbar support. They have added that in there which is a great feature. Volume for the radio is right here, coast for the cruising and everything else like that. It's all finger touch control, which is nice. You can still keep two hands on the wheel. The GPS and the navigation,[*] the voice is clear when she is talking to you and everything else like that. Sound system is nice. I mean you can really get it cranking if you want to. And then as far as anti-skid and a one hundred twenty volt outlet it's all right here. They give you more than enough.
Finding out that the engine wasn't brand new right off the bat was one of the selling points on the vehicle. With Nissan, they have tested their engines over the course of time. I would recommend this vehicle very highly to the other trades people in the industry because it's money well spent for you in the long run compared to the competitors out there.

Marcos Rosales
MBR SERVICES, INC.
Paid testimonial. The experience shown may not represent typical results. Optional equipment shown, some of which is provided by third parties for which Nissan North America is not responsible.
Hi, I'm Marcos Rosales and I am the owner of MBR Services Inc. I am a heating and cooling contractor. I've been in the industry since the early nineties. The proper term it's HVAC/R if you are into the refrigeration industry but it stands for heating, ventilation, air conditioning and refrigeration. I have six other different cargo vans and I decided to go with Nissan because I like the way the vehicle looks and they had some technological features, which is the Bluetooth and a GPS[*].
When you are opening up the door, a magnetic mechanism here will hold the door in place without having the risk of the door swinging back at you and knocking you out. I'm very excited about this vehicle because this vehicle has a wider door. How easy it is for a service tech to do this, come to get my tool pouch, get what I need so I can go and do service. These shelves are part of a package that Nissan offers depending on what kind of trade you are in. If you are a carpenter, they have a carpenter's package. If you are a plumber, there is a package for the plumber. I'm an HVAC contractor so I got the HVAC package. The value of having a longer and wider step for me is that I could put the side of my feet sideways and it will fit in there. Then I could just grab here, grab here, and then go inside. It's easier to have access to my tools that are very common like an everyday use.
Well over here, this is refrigerant tanks that we put over here that we use everyday. We carry three different ones that are the most common out there in the industry right now. This portion of the shelving here, I store all of my metering devices or any other tools that are encased in there. I put them in there. I just have to close them and I don't have to worry about it. And the drawers that come in here give us opportunity to store any smaller parts that are used in the trade.
This is like very comfortable driving. This is really, really nice. And there's the space that you could put your water, your coffee. It's got very spacious and then the center console that is here, it's beautiful because you can slide it right out and do your paperwork here. Why? Because I have my invoices that I keep here so when I close it and I am doing paperwork I don't have to be twisted this way and I can put it here and start writing into this, being very comfortable in my natural position of driving most of the time.
With this vehicle you could stretch your legs and be, you know, be enjoying the ride in the back. So, at the end of the day you don't really feel fatigue. I'm very excited about getting two more vehicles so I could add it to my fleet. I would highly recommend this vehicle to other tradesmen.

Larry Rych & Jason Havrilla
IMPERIAL KITCHENS AND BATHS, INC.
Paid testimonial. The experience shown may not represent typical results. Optional equipment shown, some of which is provided by third parties for which Nissan North America is not responsible.
I'm Larry Rych. I am the CEO of Imperial Kitchens and Baths. What makes us unique and separates us from other companies who do remodeling is the fact that we are always there either via phone or in the customer's home. We have a full time supervisor who goes to the job sites to make sure the customer is comfortable; to make sure everything is going the way it was designed to be done.
We didn't need as large of a vehicle as we had. So the first thing I wanted to do was get a vehicle that was smaller dimensions. The next thing we started to do was try to narrow down which manufacturer that we'd like to have. That's where the Nissan started to float to the surface. When you look at that Nissan vehicle we see the careful, meticulous manner in which the exterior of the body was put together. It tells me that there's care in the assembly of the vehicle in the areas that I don't see. We wanted a vehicle that we could get a six cylinder engine in. But, I like the fact that it fits well in our parking lot and people are driving by, they see our insignia and our name, and that's really important, isn't it? Personally, I don't drive it because we have a full time driver who delivers the merchandise back and forth.
This is the new Nissan NV truck. The inside, you could pretty much do whatever you want. It's a blank canvas. Working with the truck, it's never been a stress to open or close the door. The hands down best part about the Nissan van is this little feature here. You could completely open them and back up to whatever you want—pretty much touch it. It's got the handle grip. It's easy to get into. Put your foot on there. Grab the handlebar. You're in.
Just yesterday we did a kitchen tear out. We had cabinets, countertops, a mud-set floor, wall tile, all shoved in this van[*]. I mean, an entire bathroom. So, you're probably up to about chest level and then, whatever odds and ends, woodwork, you know, stuff on top of that. So as far as capacity, you could pretty much fit anything you want.
As we come into the interior of the truck, there's a couple attributes I really appreciate. Durable seat. You also have this storage drawer. I keep my insurance, registration. It's pretty handy. It keeps stuff, you know, in one piece. When I've been driving this vehicle around I have never got stopped more by people and asked, “Gee, what kind of van is that?” It's unbelievable. This truck's perfect because it allows you to store anything you need in here.
The truck handles itself very well. The engine, although we have the model with the V6, it still has plenty, plenty of horsepower. I highly recommend it to anybody who's in a similar trade. Plumbers, carpenters, electricians, it's the ideal vehicle for a tradesman.

John Gul
FRESH AND SILK FLOWERS
Paid testimonial. The experience shown may not represent typical results. Optional equipment shown, some of which is provided by third parties for which Nissan North America is not responsible.
I'm John Gul. I own and operate Fresh and Silk Flowers of Carol Stream along with my family members: myself, my son, my wife, my other son, and one way or the other we all operate the store together. We've had our van since 2002. We have approximately two hundred and fifty thousand miles on it. It is a vehicle from a while ago. It's a large van. It's got your older engine and we've tried to maintain it as well as we could. We have considered purchasing another vehicle. I don't want a cargo van. I don't want something just because it's big. It has to be far more functional. I have not seen the new NV van from Nissan. If you have one here I really would like to see it and inspect it.
Wow. That's even bigger than I ever thought it would be. That's huge. This is phenomenal. I never ever expected anything like this. That represents, or would represent, my company really, really well. I cannot imagine how sharp this would look with logos or decorative type printing on the sides. You've got so much space—it'd be like a traveling billboard.
Wow. This is, this is incredible. This is amazing. I've got so much space, and it's so easy to move around in here too. I'm in and out constantly. I'm in and out under bad weather conditions, and I could feel the support beams underneath me here, but there's no slipping and sliding. This is really, really comfortable and safe. I feel safe in here.
There's a little lever, switch? The door keeps going. Then, if I want to put it back to the regular position, it just clicks in. I didn't have to do anything like when I opened it. That's great. Plus it's not hitting…it's not coming close to the sliding door back here. It's probably six to eight inches away from that.
Wow, this is so much better than my vehicle. Oh wow. Oh my gosh look at this[*]. Oh, this is like a traveling office. You actually have an A/C one hundred and twenty volt outlet right here that you could plug a normal item into. You have so many more features on this. You don't think of a cargo-type vehicle having something like a navigation system. This is like a car—a good car. They've even put a tray underneath the seat. I know in my business with delivery sheets this would be very, very convenient. Is it possible to get a test drive in this vehicle?
Wow!
This has got a camera to be able to see behind me[*]. That is absolutely terrific. Like that, wow! Has this got pickup! That was as powerful as any car. It's a smooth ride. It's comfortable and it handles really, really well. Everything I was thinking about. It looks better, drives better, and functionally, it's far superior. I would absolutely buy one of these on a moment's notice as long as I could fit it in my budget.
NV IN ACTION
We introduced the Nissan NV3500 cargo van to a few business owners. Here are their initial thoughts.
Tom Ciciura
2ND CINE, INC.
Paid testimonial. The experience shown may not represent typical results. Optional equipment shown, some of which is provided by third parties for which Nissan North America is not responsible.
My name is Tom Ciciura. I’m the owner/operator of 2nd Cine, Inc. We provide motion picture equipment and services: grip and lighting equipment, cameras, lenses. What I really love to do is I love giving my crew a check at the end of the day. That’s my favorite part, really. Every location is different and provides its own challenges so being able to get in and unload and get out is key.
Wow! I could get to everything here so I probably could do more maintenance myself. That’s great. Any way to save money is great.
I like the way this looks a lot, I like the, you know, the design of it. If this is our camera vehicle we would have a platform on top so we could get up higher like maybe shooting certain kinds of events. [*]
Wow. My guys are six feet two, six feet four. Being able to get in and out without having to bang their heads, that sells itself. Oh I like this. Oh yeah, now we’re talking. Having this low step here is great. I love this, this hundred and twenty volt outlet right at the back of the tailgate is perfect. I could power batteries. I could run a small light.
Well, I don’t know if you’ve seen my other vehicle but this is luxurious. And this is great, you know. Coffee in the morning, water for the drive home. AM/FM radio with CD player. I like that. Oh cool. Oh wow, lots of room in there. You could put your laptop in there, pens, business cards. Oh yeah, another hundred twenty volt outlet[*]. That’s great. Charge the laptop right there. I could see this being a good vehicle for a huge number of businesses. You know, delivery van, florists. I mean, you can really see this vehicle, it’s versatile. It has a lot of different uses.
This would be great for my camera gear. I could get in and out quickly. It holds a lot of stuff. Here’s the ultimate test: can I do a U-turn in? Wow…didn’t even scrape a curb. I really wasn’t expecting to find all these small business features really, like the GPS, a place to store your laptop, have A/C power, one hundred and twenty volts. Those are real big surprises, and I like them. I like it a lot.
