Nissan Commercial Vehicles Announces NV Tour
Nissan takes new full-size commercial van on the road starting in January 2011
FRANKLIN, Tenn. (Nov. 11, 2010) - Nissan Commercial Vehicles, a division of Nissan North America, Inc., today announced plans to take the all-new 2012 Nissan NV to 13-cities in the United States starting in January 2011. "The Nissan Commercial Vehicles NV Tour" will bring the NV directly to contractors and small business owners across the country, showcasing the vehicle's strong focus on innovation that works.

"The 2012 Nissan NV brings real innovation to the full-size, commercial van segment for the first time in decades," says Joe Castelli, vice president, Nissan Commercial Vehicles and Fleet. "Once customers experience the NV at our dealerships or events like the NV Tour, I'm confident they will determine that it will meet their needs like no other van on the market today."
The tour is currently scheduled to kick-off in January, with stops in Atlanta, Los Angeles, Phoenix, Dallas and Orlando. The tour continues in spring 2011 in Minneapolis, Chicago, Philadelphia, Boston, New York, Washington/Baltimore, San Francisco and Seattle
The 2012 NV is Nissan's first entry into the commercial vehicle market for the United States and Canada. The NV's innovative design addresses many of the van segment's currently unmet customer needs, such as driver comfort, cabin functionality and cargo-area usability and is the result of more than five years of detailed research.
The 2012 Nissan NV will go into production in Canton, Miss. in early 2011. Nissan's Canton plant has recently completed a $118M construction project to prepare for the launch of the NV. A dedicated commercial vehicle dealer network is also being developed within the existing Nissan dealer body.
